How Long Have You Been a CFB Athlete? 2.5 years

What brought you to CrossFit?  I'm a wilderness therapist for teenage girls.  I wanted to show young women that you can be mighty even if you're small.

Important goals you've reached: Pull-ups.  A lot of them.  3 Mud Runs.  (about) 2 times beating Brian Johnson in Rx workouts.  1 Full Murph.  And pride in my back and arm muscles so I enjoy wearing tank tops.

Future Goals: Muscle Ups, Hand Stand Push Ups, and other amazing things that Marcie can do.

Favorite WOD or WOD Element: Rope Climbs.  Call it redemption for every middle schooler who was ever asked to climb a rope in front of their classmates.

What advice would you offer to new or prospective CrossFitters? CrossFit makes getting fit fun and empowering and it isn't just for really jacked men.  The community and constantly changing workouts beat routine and isolation at the gym.  CrossFit boxes are everywhere so it makes working out when you travel possible--plus you can collect shirts from everywhere you go.

Aside from a CrossFit athlete, how would you describe yourself? I am an authentic and tough person.  I am an introvert except around my students.  I enjoy spooning my dog, watching Broad City and Walking Dead, and being weird with my husband.
